The 2024 ADSJ Advanced Institute will again be held in conjunction with the Kentuckiana Cluster of Dog Shows on March 14 - 17 at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville, KY.

Since 2015, the scope of our program has focused on the breeds in two groups each year. The educational format first introduced by the ADSJ Advanced Institute in 1995, of breed seminars reinforced by hands-on workshops will remain the same. As in the past, the quality and depth of the educational experience is enhanced by expert presenters, quality dogs, and limited class sizes.

For 2024 we will be offering 12 Non Sporting and 12 Herding breed presentations. Meals and lodging are on your own which allows us to keep our registration fees at a bargain level for ADSJ Members.

In the 2015 Institute, the classes filled to capacity in a very short time and we were not able to accommodate all of the judges that had hoped to attend the Institute. We know that this was extremely disappointing to those on the waiting list that were denied admission. Therefore, in 2016 we initiated a new policy. Once a class has reached the maximum number of attendees, those judges on the waiting list, will be offered a chance to register for up to 20 seats in the seminar portion of the Institute. Consistent with AKC and Institute policy, these judges will only be allowed to attend the seminar portion of the classes and will not be allowed to attend the hands-on workshops. Please remember that this policy will only be initiated once the class for the full program has reached capacity.

We look forward to our 2024 ADSJ Advanced Institute. Please reserve the dates of March 14 - 17, 2024.
